VANILIA MAJOROS

I was born in Hungary. I left Hungary for the US in 2003. I am living in New Haven, Connecticut.
I have a Ph.D. in Art History. I am a specialist of the European Modernism. I wrote six monographs and more than one hundred arcticles about the Modernism and the Contemporary Art. My articles were published in Hungary, Germany, France, Canada and in the USA.
I was working at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. I was the Associate Director of the Art Collection of the Academy.
As a photographer I have participated in the group shows in Hungary. There were nine solo exhibitions from my photos. I have exhibited two times on a two artists shows.
My photos were published in reviews and books in Hungary, in the USA and in France.
I started to learn Calligraphy and Printmaking in the US. I finished my studies at the Yale School of Art in 2008. I started to exhibit my prints in 2005 in New Haven.
I am the instructor of the Intermediate Printmaking in the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven.
